Eggstra special, eggstra sweet...

Italy’s fine chocolate making tradition means that sweet temptation is never that far away around Easter. One of the largest and most spectacular eggs I’ve seen over the last few days was this ornate masterpiece in the window of Gay-Odin in Parioli, a branch of Naple’s oldest chocolate makers. Weighing in at six kilos of chocolate, the price was an equally hefty €190. Happy scoffing!
