From Thursday to Sunday of this week, it’s tutti a Testaccio! for the fourth edition of the Spring Beer Festival at the Città dell’Altra Economia. The event is free to enter and will feature 36 craft beer breweries, some of the capital’s best street food, and live entertainment.

If that’s not enough, you can also try your hand at beer pong, join a collective bike ride to the event from Ponte Milvio (departing at 16.00 on Saturday 14 May) or show up with your Harley Davidson for a motorbike meet-up.

Open every evening from 18.00 til 2.00 in the morning, plus lunchtime openings at the weekend, beers will be on sale with a token system once again, and participating pubs will be giving out vouchers for discounted beers and food to be used in the respective establishments once the event is over.

All clear? If you tag your Instagram photos with #SBFR16 you’ll also be in with a chance of winning a dinner for two at Roman pizzeria and gastro-pub Il Bosco degli Elfi, situated along Via Tuscolana. If you tag your photos #testaccina as well, I’ll gladly follow and repost your in-focus handiwork. Cheers!
