Les Etoiles Restaurant Rome – review
I recently went to try dinner at Les Etoiles Restaurant in Rome and I wasn’t disappointed.
Dinner started with raw, red Mazara prawns plus marinated vegetables in a Thai sauce. This fusion mix of Italian and Eastern ingredients was fresh and tasty.
Dinner continued with a pair of exquisite, stuffed cuttlefish filled with sun-dried tomatoes, ricotta and Sicilian anchovies. Another wow from me!
We moved on to the pasta course next, and this was a colourful treat combining tonnarelli with pink prawns, tomatoes and saffron. Summery and exotic at the same time!
The second course continued this fusion trend by combining sea bream plus beetroot and bok choi. A delicious combination of flavours and textures!
Dessert was another feast for the eyes and the palate, in the shape of this superb ruby chocolate semifreddo with raspberries. A wonderful close to a perfect dinner.
What I really enjoyed about the experience at Les Etoiles was the contrast between the two terraces. While the top terrace has a young and energetic vibe, with lots of people watching and joyfully raised glasses, the restaurant area is even more refined and exclusive and sets the scene perfectly with its San Pietro views and starry skies.
This is a great restaurant and cocktail bar for a special event, in a couple or with friends, and best of all, there are spaces here to suit every mood.
